Fafunia is an exciting place where we design,
develop, create and imagine just about anything.
A unique combination of design knowledge and
child related knowledge that all comes together
due to our incredible partner company The New Factory located in Milton Keynes.
From Nursery Furniture & Equipment, Nursery
Buildings & Classrooms and a collection of Open Ended resources, Fafunia is a resourceful place
working towards providing the very best solution for the children and your business.
Our background and forte has always been focused on education and day nurseries. Offering complete finished buildings and turn-key solutions we pride ourselves on breaking the boundaries and totally thinking outside the box when it comes to the facilities and furnishings.
We enjoy a challenge and the refurbishment of nurseries has become a key part of our continued success. We truly do work very hard to build a solid relationship with our customers which enhances their trust in us, and means they continue to work with us in the future.
Some of you may remember Shanticot, which we designed nearly ten years ago and has been sold through the Bunkcot Company for a long time. They made them abroad but have now stopped.
Tom, our imaginator, thought they were getting a bit frumpy and expensive. So we have kept the size the same and the principles and ethos – but made them more relevant to 2017.
So we have kept the very young baby cot at the top – so you can use them without harming your back and the ‘downstairs’ is the same cosy place.
Our Fafu-cots come in a lovely natural finishand take up the same space as a domestic cot – so four children can rest in the space you use for one cot at present. These are not available to domestic customers and have been designed for Nursery Use only. Delivery charges will be applied at the checkout. Deliveries do not include carrying the Cot to its room location or up any stairs. It's a standard delivery service.

The International Play Iceland team organise week long trips for large groups of people (as many as possible) in order to spread our message and keep the movement growing. We focus our tours to play based settings and schools in hope of gaining more knowledge and experience in that area from seeing how other settings approach that style of learning. These tours have been proven to be some of the most influential and enlightening times of many of our participants careers, it is a chance to open up to new ideas and in some cases a reminder that you are on the right track and are doing a good job!
